Brian K. Rader
Mr. Rader has over 14 years’ experience in the Civil Engineering Field. His experience includes residential, commercial and transportation design and technical support. Mr. Rader is also advanced in various CAD programs and software including AutoCAD Land Development, Microstation and GeoPak. Some of the projects which Mr. Rader has had responsibility for, or has participated in the design of, are as follows:
Sanitary, Levee, Transportation
Route 100 - MODOT - Project included widening of five intersections along Route 100 at various locations. Turn lanes and shoulders were added to these intersections. All plans were provided in Microstation and GeoPak, per MODOT standards.
I-70 Resurfacing, From Wentzville to Warren County Line - MODOT - The project consisted of 4.88 miles of asphalt concrete overlay and the removal and replacement of all existing signs using Guidsign software.
Kirkwood Storm Sewer - Metropolitan Sewer District - Provided plan preparation for over 1,600 feet of storm sewer design and was sole technician as well as partial designer of removing and replacing storm facilities, pavement, and other utilities relating to this project in this area.
Ambs and Mattis Road, St. Louis County - Participated in the preparation of preliminary strip maps, right-of-way plans, construction plans, and computed quantities. The project included the replacement of over 450 meters of pavement and sidewalk. Project also included traffic signal and turn lanes.
First Capitol Drive - City of St. Charles - Project included the removal and replacement of approximately 1,300 ft. of pavement and sidewalk.
Mid-America Airport, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois - Performed various concrete testing at the site during the constructing of the runways and taxiways.
Valley Park Levee Project - Conducted document research and exhibits for right-of-way acquisitions, as well as plan preparation.
Fee Fee Creek Trunk Line, Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District - Prepared data for field crews and filled in for field technicians; also provided plan preparation.
Starlet Sanitary Relief, Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District - Provided plan preparation and was sole technician as well as partial designer of removing and replacing sanitary facilities, pavement, and other utilities relating to this project in this area.
White Road, St. Louis County Highway Department – The project included the removal and replacement of approximately 4,400 ft. of new pavement and sidewalk. Total project cost of $1,800,000.
The Bluffs at Manchester - Project is located just west of Interstate 270 at Manchester Road and Des Peres Road. The project includes the filling of an existing 26-acre rock quarry and designing the layout for a 300-room hotel with banquet and meeting rooms, a parking garage and an office complex. Des Peres Road plans are also being prepared to widen and add turn lanes to the existing road.
